Important announcement of Qnet.

Dear Valued IR,

We live in a world where everything is connected beyond imagination. The digital age brings us so many incredible innovations to our lives. Like everything else, this hi-tech age also comes with pros and cons.

Identity fraud is one of the serious problems that come with technology. Many cases of identity fraud have been reported all over the world. As your business companion, QNet is stepping up our security measures to make sure that your information is secured and protected against fraud.

As a result, the Know Your Customer (KYC) process was first unveiled at V-Malaysia 2010. Now, the time has come for other IRs who have yet to be registered to this programme to become part of this process. The KYC process will be launched across the board for all NEW IRs on Sunday, 15 August 2010.

The process is simple: all you need to do is scan your valid ID* which must contain a photo, with your signature affixed to certify the document. Submit it within the period of 14 days after registration.

You can submit the document through the following ways:
Upload the scanned copy to the Customer Request Form (CRF) in your Virtual Office with the word 'KYC' written on the document;
Email the document to network.support@qnet.net;
Fax the document to our local representative office or Regional Office; or
Post the document to our local representative office or Regional Office

When signing up new IRs, please explain this process to them. Failure to submit the document within the above submission periods will result in the new IR’s Quest Account being de-activated until the valid ID copy is received and verified. Please also note that, for your own Quest Account security, it is mandatory to submit the document.
